I spilled candle wax on my laptops upright,i've gotten most past its sell-by date, but is it nontoxic to use?

I'm not extraordinarily computer savvy, so detailed answers wud be appreciated,thanks

Wax doesn't conduct electricity, so you are fine. With different laptops, in that are ways to remove the keyboard and go and get underneath it, but I'd recommend not doing that because it could void your warranty. It wouldn't hurt to bring the computer by Best Buy. If you find someone friendly, they might look at it for free.

You can try it and see. it will not short out the computer or monitor if it is not safe. Basically it basically will not work or keys will stick. I would try typing on respectively key for a time and turn the keyboard over and see if any extramural comes out. The biggest concern is the wax may have burned thru the component under the key. If this is the case you will own to replace your keyboard which will run anywhere from $5 - $90.
I don't know if it is safe and sound to use, but you could use WD-40 to get the rest of the wax bad at least that what i used for mine.
