Answer:
Not possible.
Unfortunately, laptop/notebook computers are not fully upgradeable. They are so small that adjectives of the parts have to fit together resembling a puzzle and every part is so specialized that not a soul mass produces them...except for memory, hard drives and optical medium (CD/DVD/floppy drives).
If you want a more powerful processor, different motherboard or video card, there really isn't anything you can do.
No, chipset for celeron and Pentium 2x is completely different. plus, beside that kind of processor, you are going to want a knock against upgrade to ddr2 that the Celeron board does not allow for.
not worth the fuss or the money or the time. when you need a topical laptop, get a duo but for very soon its too annoying to replace.
If it was a desktop you could own a chance of upgrading the CPU/Motherboard. But because it is a notebook, it cant be done. Sorry You obligation to buy a new laptop. Perhaps you can e-bay it, or trade it surrounded by. Or just use your current one as a put money on up or for games.
It is virtually impossible to do because it would require replacing the motherboard. It would be cheaper, and easier, just to buy a alien notebook. If you really want to keep like notebook,(why in the given name of God would you want to?),I'm sure there is a local computer shop who would be bright and breezy to rape you to the tune of a couple of thousand dollars.
