The DVD player spins next to a disk in it but the PC fail to recognise this

try a diffrent cd, try a cd rom insead of dvd. also, if it's a recordible dvd, make sure thet your drive is comatible near it, some read dvd-w dvd-rw and some read dvd+r dvd+rw, and some read both.
try turning the cd / dvd the other way, might be putting it surrounded by the wrong way.
if you can access the disk contained by the drive from the 'my computer' folder then it's the software, you probably havnt get the right programs to run whatever it is your trying to run!
What are you using as a movie player on your system? Make sure the DVD is verbs and is seated properly. And try it again.. if you have a movie player installed and your computer is recognize the DVD drive.
Does your laptop havr bluetooth ? if not buy a bluetooth adoptor for lb20 but 1st engender sure your DVD player has it and that should sustain !!!
