I lately purchased a laptop from a friend. How do I remove his term from the documents and computer?

Answer:

To alter the name surrounded by the documents (and in adjectives Office applications), open up Word, run to Tools --> Options, and click the User Information tab. Change the name and initials to your own and that will pinch care of the documents factor.

Changing the name for the computer requires going into the Registry. The interconnect below goes to a Microsoft Knowledge Base article that explains how; it's pretty straightforward. Just make sure you're comfortable next to working in the Registry, and you shouldn't hold any trouble.
well u would own to create a new justification, but u cannot change who the copy of window is registered to unless u reinstall windows.
Backup your background on another drive and reinstall windows... If you don't know how, google it and you'll find plenty of resources.
Your best bet is to re-install window using the original disc that come with it and reformat the thorny drive. This way you will be protected from any viruses that are living on it.
if you are using window xp find the control panel then click user accounts pick a duty either modification the name or create an explanation.
