I call for some cheap RAM for my HP Pavillion dv6245ca, which one would be the best?

I'm fine beside 2 1GB or 1 2GB as I have 2 slots beside 512mb in respectively right now.

Answer:

It would be a **little** better next to a single 2-gig stick as opposed to 2 one-gig sticks, but the difference wouldn't be great satisfactory to be noticeable.

But past you shell out for a two-gig stick, first make sure of how much RAM your computer will authorize. Visit an online RAM seller beside a system scanner (such as crucial.com) to find out what your options for. The scanner will confirm what RAM you own installed now; it'll also relate you what your computer's maximum is.

If the maximum RAM your computer will recognize is 2 gigs, you won't know how to use a two-gig stick. In that event, you'll have to use a duet of one-gig sticks if you want to upgrade your computer's RAM to 2 gigs. If your computer can handle 4 gigs, afterwards you can use either a single two-gig stick or a duo of one-gig sticks. Good luck and have fun!
