I enjoy 2 OS surrounded by my laptop... how can i take rid of the antiquated one?
Answer:
Well, if you in truth have two OS's on your system, humiliate this.
If you mean that when you boot XP it asks you to choose your OS you can resolve this issue by:
1)go to c: contained by explorer
2) go to tools-folder options-view tab and uncheck the box that say Hide protected operating system files
3) right click the file call boot.ini select properties and uncheck the read only box.
4) edit the boot.ini profile and erase the superfluous line beneath operating systems.
If you aren't positive which to delete, do not risk it. Deleting the wrong line will effect your system to become inoperable. you can post the file here if you don't know which row to delete post the file.
can you provide me near some more info:
-what are the operating systems
-how many partition is your hard drive contained by
-what is the old and contemporary os?
then i can answer
